The Eco-Certification Guidelines for Kanha Shanti Vanam establish a framework for conscious and context-sensitive development within the township. Rooted in the principles of Heartfulness, the guidelines seek to foster a deeper connection between the built environment, nature and the well-being of its residents.
Rather than treating sustainability as a checklist, the framework encourages mindful decisions across planning, architecture, resource conservation and construction practices. It responds to Kanha’s natural and cultural context while translating ecological principles into practical, user-centric guidelines for the community.
Developed through collaboration between Shanti Kunj, community members, architectural and urban design professionals, and sustainability and certification experts, the guidelines aim to make ecological responsibility a shared part of everyday living and contribute towards a lasting legacy for future generations.
