About Us
Founded in 2013, THUMBIMPRESSIONS is a multidisciplinary design and build studio led by four partners. We operate as a collaborative practice, bringing together individuals with varied perspectives, united by a shared sensitivity to social, environmental, and economic contexts. We understand architecture as an ongoing, collective process—shaped as much by dialogue and exchange as by design intent.
The studio’s work is guided by an effort to reconcile function with aesthetic clarity—where design is expected to perform as thoughtfully as it appears. Drawing from varied backgrounds and experiences, the team engages projects from multiple viewpoints, allowing for responses that are both considered and inclusive. Collaboration remains central to the practice, with ideas shaped through dialogue, exchange, and collective inquiry.
At its core, the studio’s approach seeks to uncover a quieter expression of architecture—one that is articulated through a measured and sensitive use of material, structure, and form, balancing lightness with resilience.

Design
We believe architecture serves as a catalyst, transforming imagination into functional reality. Our team of ‘makers’ works closely with clients, guiding them through a collaborative architectural design process to conceive buildings that are contextually rooted, climatically responsive, and socially impactful.
Build
We offer comprehensive execution services utilizing sustainable building materials like Bamboo, Earth, and Lime. Our highly skilled team passionately engages in realizing the potential of these materials through hands-on experiments and structural explorations.
Furniture
